Scott O'Connor, DPM, FACFAS
Scott B. O’Connor, DPM, FACFAS welcomes patients at Premier Podiatry, where he treats all problems related to the foot and ankle, from common bunions and sprained ankles to diabetic wound care. His compassionate and experienced care is available at three locations in Pontiac, and Bloomington, Illinois, where he strives to make each patient comfortable and provide long-term solutions rather than short-term fixes.
Dr. O’Connor specializes in the surgical repair of foot and ankle deformities. He also has extensive experience in sports medicine and fracture care, including reconstructive surgery.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois, Dr. O’Connor earned his podiatric medical school at the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine, where he earned his Doctor of Podiatric Medicine (DPM). From there, he performed two years of post-graduate training in foot and ankle surgery at Westview Hospital in Indianapolis.
Dr. O’Connor holds two board certifications, one in foot surgery and a second in reconstructive rearfoot and ankle surgery. He’s on staff at OSF St. Joseph Hospital in Bloomington, Illinois and OSF Saint James in Pontiac, Illinois, as well as at Advocate Eureka Hospital in Eureka and Advocate BroMenn Medical Center in Normal.
A native of Illinois, Dr. O’Connor was born and raised in Herrin while his wife, Jerica, is a native of Monticello, Illinois. They have two wonderful daughters, Paige and Regan, and an incredible son, Ian.
